Hi there,

I’m so glad you found your way here. I am Kristin. I live in a little, unfinished, cabin in the woods of Western Montana with my husband, Reiley, and our dog Hopper. A few years ago we sold our house. Ready for a new adventure but not sure where to go, we bought an RV and traveled the country for a year. At the end of the year we decided Montana had stolen our hearts like no where else.

So, we purchased 20 acres of raw land and are currently on our new adventure. We are building our new home ourselves — as much as possible. We are also navigating building a whole new community in a brand new place. And while we build this new life, Reiley will be working full time and I will venture forward on completing my first fiction novel.

So, this is just a place to keep up with what we are learning and building. I’ll share everything from journal entries to book reviews and philosophical ponderings. I hope you enjoy what you find here and that it might inspire you or provoke you to take a step in your life that maybe you’ve been desiring quietly for far too long.
